Ektelon
As the number one brand in racquetball, Ektelon turned a lot of
heads last year with the introduction of its MORE Performance Series
of racquets. The key to MORE Performance racquets is Ektelon's PowerLock
construction. The PowerLock internal wall adds extra strength and stiffness
for increased frame durability and torque resistance. PowerLock also
creates Ektelon's Direct Contact string channels, with no drilled holes.
These string channels eliminate the need for grommets, and provides
the liveliest string bed ever, delivering pure, unprecedented power.
This season, look for an expanded MORE Performance line as Ektelon allows
the technology to trickle down to value-priced racquets.
Head
With a full line of racquets, strings, eyewear, bags, and accessories
to choose from, Head has long been a leader in the racquetball industry.
Some of the most exciting products of 2003 are sure to be the Intelligence
X racquets from Head. Using the same technology found in Head's premium
tennis racquets, the Intelligence X series uses patented Intellifibers
in the head and throat of the racquet. While the ball is still on the
strings, theseIntellifibers stiffen and stabilize the frame. This reduces
morphing and twisting, creating incredible power.
E-Force
With a wide range of high-performance racquetball racquets to choose
from, E-Force has something for virtually every type of player. The
Bedlam series, for example, features the company's powerful Launch Pad
technology and a wishbone
frame composed of strong, lightweight carbon. If you prefer E-Force's
Quadraform frame, test out a racquet from their Judgement series.
